Postcard image
I am using this image for a postcard that is being printed by politer.com. It is a new piece that will be one of three at the Hampshire and Berkshire Guild of Craftsmen exhibition in the spring.
On the back of the postcard will be my contact details and a recycled logo as the postcards are printed on recycled paper. I am hoping to sell my postcards at the exhibition and generate more interest in my work and workshops at the cabin.
This image was inspired by spring flowers from last years sketch books and photos. I am producing a set of three similar images for the exhibition at Hillier Gardens in Romsey. I attended a meeting with the guild on Monday and was once again reminded how very lucky I am to be a part of the group - the professionalism and quality of the work produced is a high standard to match. We were at Harriet Walford’s house for the meeting where I admired the beautiful furniture of Hugo Egleston. Thoroughly inspired and with a desire to do my best I drove home with a real excitement about the work still to do!
